Global Orthopedics is an orthopedic practice serving patients in Atlanta, Georgia and the surrounding areas. Dr. Eric Furie, a board certified orthopedic surgeon, offers personalized care and treatment for upper and lower extremity maladies, including injuries of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle. His fellowship training is in Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy and Joint Reconstruction and he now specializes in arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee, and joint replacement of the hip, knee and shoulder. Treatments are performed either through the conservative use of oral medications, injections, bracing or therapy. When conservative treatment has been exhausted, or is not an option, the least invasive surgical options are pursued. As an athlete himself, Dr. Furie has sustained and overcome many injuries and has a special interest in getting his patients of all ages back to participating in everyday life at full capacity.
Global Orthopedic’s highly trained team welcomes you to our state-of-the-art facility with a warm and inviting environment. Here, you are treated as a unique individual where treatment plans are devised with your specific needs in mind. Our goal at Global Orthopedics is to get you, the patient, back on the field, back to the office, or just back home, without pain, and without stress.
